         "What's another human life…?"           These were her last words. Her words were spoken softly, without fear, from her dying lips. I still remember her hand as it trembled holding my dark skinned wrist, weak and desperately for life. The blood that poured over her pale lips and the life as it had drained from her beautiful blue eyes falling cold as they looked upon the world for their last time. These were things I'd never come to forget and these were the things that would always haunt me.        

           Children live lavish lives spoiled and well cared. Though a select few had misfortunes befall them. Keith had been one of these few. A long way from Australia and a long way from home, but worse off, Keith was alone. He didn't know where to turn or where to run. Where to take shelter or where to hide, he was frightened and unsure.                      She sat up weary, lost and confused. And I watched her. I watched her sweet honey cream skin bend under the light. The way she sat, shaking uncontrollably up, scared and horrified in my bed. And how with every movement she made, she would only entice me to observe her further. I watched from a distance as her eyes shifted around the darkness and her hair swept down her shoulder, troubled with her surroundings. She couldn't remember where she was, how she had gotten here, or my sterol I.V.'s that had washed so many drugs from her system. She was something I wanted, no I needed in my life and now I had her. She was mine.
